Many companies in the region with international employees organize social activities to help their staff connect and feel part of the community. If you haven’t already, ask your employer about events or initiatives you can join. These can range from after-work gatherings to team-building activities and cultural events.
Social media is a fantastic resource for finding activities and connecting with others. The CS Expats and Locals Facebook group is an active community where people organize various events and meetups. You can join the group here: CS Expats and Locals.
You can also find nationality-specific Facebook groups to connect with fellow nationals living in Örebro. Simply search for your country or region in combination with “Örebro” to find a group that suits you.
